Barney Kessel – Here’s That Rainy Day

Here’s That Rainy Day was composed by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke, published in 1953 .Here we have Barney Kessel’s performance with his group, recording date unknown. Barney Kessel was a great Jazz guitarist. The most famous vocal performances of this tune were done by Frank Sinatra. This song was a great favorite of Johnny Carson host of The Tonight Show that was once  the most popular late night talk show on U.S. television. For more about the song, look here.
