Fats Waller and Lee Wiley — Someone To Watch Over Me

Thanks to OnlyJazzHQ for the You Tube

Someone to Watch Over Me was composed and written by George and Ira Gershwin in 1926. It was introduced in the musical Oh Kay! It gained a life of its own as a popular music standard. The song has had a very long recording life.  The Gershwin Brothers were among America’s greatest songwriting teams. Fats Waller plays organ to accompany Lee Wiley on this song.
