Another Asteroid Near Miss

Asteroid 2015 HD1 came very close to hitting Earth this past Tuesday.  According to Earthsky,  the asteroid  came within 20 per cent of the distance between Earth and the Moon.  Since it was a small asteroid, it likely would have been broken up by the heat and pressures of gravity.  Someone wrote a book about a bolide striking the Earth.  This past week has been full of much bigger events.
